A healthy alternative to the typical salon has not always been available, but now at Pure Elements, an Organic Salon, we are able to offer you a way to look beautiful while nurturing your body’s health. Our organic salon is located at 1728 Western Avenue, across from the Crossgates Mall main entrance. We are proud to be the only organic salon in Guilderland, NY.

My dedication to organic hairstyling began with a desire to provide clients with exceptional services and products that are non-toxic, healthier for the body, and eco-friendly. I got my start by working in salons that use industry-standard products and brands. However, after being in the business for 10 years and constantly being around harmful chemicals, I began to suffer from sinus and lung problems. It was then that I decided to research products that would be safer to use on my clients and open my own organic salon.

At Pure Elements, we provide natural and organic hair and nail care, facial waxing, and cosmetic services. Studies have shown that ingredients such as ammonia, sodium lauryl sulfate, fillers, parabens, synthetic dyes, and formaldehyde may create substantial health risks, including cancer. We have found alternatives to many of the products typically used in salons around the country to provide a healthier alternative.

In an effort to avoid all harmful and dangerous chemicals, our clients can rest assured that their health is in our best interests. Therefore, we research all of the products that we use and sell in our organic salon to make sure we find ones that contain natural or organic ingredients whenever possible.
